Since the 1920s until today, Dallas residents and visitors have driven around White Rock Lake and marveled at this imposing home looking over the lake. Built by H.L. Hunt at the time, one of the richest men in the world, who symbolized Texas. The Hunt family has contributed greatly to the architecture in Dallas, restoring historic properties, adapting landmark properties for other uses, and designing new homes by the city's finest architects. The home was purchased and renovated in the first part of the twenty-first century. It remains a Dallas landmark.
