Architect Dean Smith Designed Home
3900 Stonebridge Drive, Dallas, Texas
Turtle Creek Real Estate
Arthur and Marie Berger, the preeminent landscape arechitects of the first half of the century, known for their collaborations with O’Neil Ford, first identified this property in the 1930s as the greatest site on Turtle Creek. O’Neil Ford designed one of his most important homes here for the Bergers. He took advantage of this extraordinary site on the bluffs of Turtle Creek with a view of the city comparable to the 14th floor of the highrises across Turtle Creek Boulevard. It was a great blow to the architecture community and all who love architecture when it was torn down. Some owners later, architect Dean Smith designed a delightful eclectic home that blends into this hidden site of .9 acres of secluded woods.
