Texas Preservation Trust Fund Advisory Board, representing several professions including architects, archaeologists, attorneys, banking, real estate, and nonprofit historic preservation organizations, included Douglas Newby representing real estate and Sarah Crain representing nonprofit historic preservation, both from Dallas. We met to discuss Texas preservation grants for 2027. There were grants recommended for small fragile projects across the state of Texas and significant grants for Dallas projects that included the City of Dallas Preservation Plan and a grant for the State Fair Music Hall designed by architect Mark Lemmon.
