3117 Cornell Avenue, Dallas, Texas
A contemporary house in the Katy Trail corridor of Old Highland Park. Two very large spaces with many windows are connected by double passageways or by a long corridor lined with windows. Every room has prominent views of the side courtyard with a perimeter of Cypress trees, creating a sophisticated canopy and serene space.
Bluestem Residence, Cresson, Texas
This contemporary Bluestem residence was designed by architect Normand D. Ward in Cresson, Texas. A single roof rests on four pavilions with breezeways and walkways that help filter out sunlight into bedrooms and the studio.
The Rachofsky House
Howard Rachofsky encouraged and allowed Richard Meier to explore and experiment in this 10,000 square foot home on Preston Road. The seemingly simple, effortlessly floating stark facade belies its massive and intricate structure that gives it its grace.
3502 Edgewater Street, Dallas, Texas
This is the only single-family home in Northern Heights adjacent to the Katy Trail. A creased plane of glazed openings embrace the pool and backdrop of the dense 30 ft wall of trees, bushes and plants along the trail.

Bud Oglesby Designed Home in Preston Hollow
Architect Enslie (Bud) Oglesby designed this 4,400 square foot contemporary home in 1970. Award-winning architect Ron Wommack, who came out of the Oglesby shop, calls it “Bud’s purest work.” This home reflects the aesthetic that continues to influence the current generation of award winning architects.
3509 Crescent Avenue, Dallas, Texas
This modern home was built in 2005 and a project of the architecture firm Merrill, Pastor & Colgan who have designed buildings all over the world. The home sits in the first section of Old Highland Park with many windows across the facade.
3501-03 Springbrook Street, Dallas, Texas
In 1987, Lionel Morrison designed a modern single-family attached townhome in Northern Heights. Other important architects followed, including Frank Welch, Graham Greene, Ron Wommack and others, both in Northern Heights and throughout the Turtle Creek Corridor.
