Greenway Terrace is best understood as one of the transition neighborhoods of Northwest Dallas — close to some of the city’s most expensive neighborhoods, but historically more modest in scale. The neighborhood’s character comes from this contrast: older Dallas houses, central Dallas convenience, and the continuing development of expensive homes in the neighborhood and increasing commercial vibrancy close by.
