John Reoch Tribute at Conduit Gallery

Guests at the Celebration of Life service for John Reoch held at the Conduit Gallery in the Turtle Creek area of Dallas.
Behind seated audience, standing audience packs the Conduit Gallery to hear the four speakers giving a tribute to John Reoch. Douglas Newby led off with his remarks, followed by artist Frances Bagley, gallerist Cris Worley, and concluding with Mark Reoch.

Nancy Whitenack has had a tremendous impact on artist patrons in Dallas for over 45 years. Her Conduit Gallery has had different Deep Elm locations and Design District locations, but her best location is her current one at 1845 E. Levee Street. This was a perfect location to host other important Dallas gallerists, like Barry Whistler and Cris Worley, and the artists they represent, and mutual patrons they cater to, as John Reoch was celebrated with tributes in his honor on September 14, 2026. Douglas Newby, who has known John Reoch since the day he arrived in Dallas, led off the tributes, followed by artist Frances Bagley, gallery owner Cris Worley, and concluded with his brother Mark Reoch. In attendance were business leaders, philanthropists, civic leaders, artists, and a room filled with those who adored John Reoch and what he provided to each of them and to the Dallas community.
