Fair Park recognizes that the Fair Park DART rail station and tracks is an impediment at the main entrance of Fair Park.

The spectacular entrance to Fair Park and its views along the ceremonial esplanade to the Hall of State has been impeded or blocked by the DART rail station and tracks. Rather than easing pedestrian access, visitors have to negotiate DART trains and different crossings just to get into Fair Park from the main entrance.

Fair Park First wants to preserve the Art Deco buildings and character of Fair Park.
