Thoughts on the Contributions of Architect Peterman Brothers
Fred and Charlie Peterman were the sons of builder Henry Peterman. Before the Great Depression they began an architectural firm, the Peterman Brothers. But both the Depression and the World War II would disrupt the business. After the war, younger brother Maurice Peterman restarted the business with Charlie and younger brother Chris. The Peterman Brothers designed many homes in the Highland Park neighborhood.
