Dallas Architecture Forum Celebrates Legacy of Architect Ron Wommack

At the Angelika Theater, the Dallas Architecture Forum celebrated the life of architect Ron Wommack with an architectural panel that included from left architect Russell Buchanan, architect Max Levy, architect Joshua Nimmo, and architect Dan Shipley. Architect Eurico Francisco, President of the Dallas Architecture Forum, did a wonderful job leading the discussion. Ron Wommack was remembered for being so generous, engaged and encouraging of young architects and the work of his contemporaries. Ron Wommack loved being an architect and being involved in the arena of architecture.

His side-by-side images expressed the influence that Ron Wommack had on the fabulous architectural work of Russell Buchanan. Max Levy discussed his own work and Ron Wommack’s reaction to it and how they shared observations of architectural detail and inspiration they came across. This discussion of Ron brought to life the nuance, inspiration and cross-pollenation of ideas that permeate Dallas’ landscape of modern architecture.
