Tom Joseph Greico (1958–2019) was a visionary architect and builder who significantly influenced modern home design in Dallas. After earning his degree from the University of Texas at Arlington’s School of Architecture in 1983, he founded his own homebuilding business, becoming one of the pioneers of modern homebuilding in North Texas. Through his company, Greico Modern Homes, Tom designed and built over 40 custom modern homes, drawing inspiration from mid-century modern aesthetics characterized by minimalist forms and cantilevered rooflines. His work has been featured in events such as the Parade of Homes and the White Rock Home Tour, reflecting his commitment to timeless design and quality craftsmanship. Tom’s enduring legacy continues to inspire architects and builders in the Dallas area.
