6938 Wildgrove Avenue, designed by Arthur E. Thomas, was one of the first two homes to be built and showcased for the Dallas Daily Times Herald Perfect Homes. This English Tudor style home, originally calling for the conventional timber and stucco, used sandstone, limestone, marble, with a cement tile roof on both the home and detached garage, and 13 lead stained-glass windows, one mounted upside down.
