Handwritten note by Orville Pate who was the Crespi Estate caretaker for over 50 years. The rock house was the 2,600 square foot house at the top of the hill, close to the entrance. He was a tremendous help to me when I was selling the Crespi Estate, and he had so many wonderful stories. He was a wonderful man!
