6292 Mercedes Avenue designed by Architect David Williams in the Wilshire Heights neighborhood, Dallas, Texas

When Carol Weber first saw the house in 1976, she was put off because this white painted house looked too much like a plantation house. It did have some East Texas and Louisiana influences. Once she walked inside and saw the staircase, windows, fireplace and honest design of the home, she fell in love with it. Eventually, they removed the white paint and the original used brick specified for the home was exposed.
