Dallas has a wonderful tradition of retaining architects from across the country to do work in Dallas. Clients and architects occasionally meet while they are students in school. This was the case with the contemporary architect who designed the Translucens House on Miramar in Highland Park. This was also the case for the clients of 4411 Pomona. These architects designed some very exciting properties on the east coast before designing this residence in Dallas.

Just as Howard Meyer came from New York and designed modern homes in Dallas utilizing indigenous materials, Della Valle + Bernheimer Design, also from New York, designed this Bluffview home reflecting a Texas Modern Hill Country sensibility in its materials and design. The home is an exciting addition to the architectural landscape of Dallas.
